Living and working in Norfolk, UK
BA hons Photographic Arts, University of Westminster

Informed by her training in art photography, Genevieve works using mixed-media techniques combining photography, textiles, drawing and printmaking. Her inspiration is drawn from the natural world, through exploring botanical forms, working directly with plants, or utilising recycled and natural materials. Alongside her own arts practice, she runs community participatory arts groups

With an active interest in ‘arts and health’, Genevieve has been commissioned to facilitate participatory arts projects within care and nursing homes, supported housing, day centres, youth clubs, and community groups. Aiming to boost wellbeing through creative activity, she works in a collaborative way, in particular with those living with long-term health conditions such as mental illness, disability and addictions

Alongside formal art photography training, Genevieve attends regular training and courses, including bookbinding (Book Works, London, 2009), printmaking (Kensington & Chelsea College, London, 2012), behaviour management in youth arts (Artswork, London, 2013), drawing (Slade School of Fine Art, London, 2013), reminiscent arts in dementia care (European Reminiscence Network, London, 2013) and collaborative leadership in voluntary organisations (Open University, 2016-2017)

Genevieve is also a member of Artists' Union England, holds up-to-date Public and Products Liability Insurance and recent DBS checks. Plus, she has additional training in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
